Educational Programs
Through specially designed educational activities and with the help of educational material, children become scientists, become familiar with research methods and discover information about fossils, rocks, sea and land geoforms, the great biodiversity of the island of Nissiopi and the gulf of Sigri.
20 million years ago there were many active volcanoes in the northeastern Aegean region. In the island of Lesvos 5 large volcanic centers were discovered.
22 of April has been declared International “ Earth Day”

Special educational activities
Access to cultural heritage is a fundamental human right, while taking part in the cultural life is a prerequisite for social inclusion and social participation.
