Petrified Forest Park (Bali-Alonia)

You can tour the Petrified Forest Park (Bali Alonia) following three walking trails of a total length of 4km, with different levels of difficulty.

There are resting points where you can have a rest and enjoy at the same time a panoramic view.

For individuals using Mobility Aids, there is a special side entrance accessible by wheelchairs. Wheelchair access is only possible in certain parts of the Park.

Sigri Park

At the SIgri Park there is a walking trail 350m long.

There are resting points where you can have a rest and enjoy at the same time a panoramic view of the finds and the bay of Sigri.

Plaka Park

You can tour both the coastal and the land part of the Plaka Park through walking trails of a total length of 800m, with different levels of difficulty.

There are resting kiosks where you can have a rest and enjoy at the same time a panoramic view of the finds, but also the bay of Sigri and the islet of Nissiopi.

Wheelchair access is only possible in certain parts of the Park.

Nissiopi Marine Park

The Nissiopi Marine Park has both a marine and a land part. You can visit the marine part by the special bottom-glass boat Nissiopi.

Hiking on the land part of the Park is a unique experience. The land morphology is smooth and offers the opportunity of an easy hike for both young children and the elderly.

There are places with different levels of difficulty across the Park. You can have a rest at the resting kiosks and enjoy a panoramic view of the bay of Sigri and the western coast of Lesvos using the special binoculars.
