Date:

The nature excursions of the Natural History Museum of the Lesvos Petrified Forest and the Kalloni Enviromental Information Center aiming to promote the acquaintance of the public with the natural wealth of Lesvos Geopark are being continued!

This time we will go to one of the most important wetlands of North-western Lesvos, the Molyvos Water Reservoir. The wetland is part of the protected area GR4110012 "North Lesvos" and has great ecological value as it maintains fresh water all year round, acting as a space for shelter, as well as breeding grounds for aquatic bird species of the area. In an effort to get to know the species of birds that spend winter in the wetland area, our tool will become for once more the bird ringing.

Saturday 13 November, 08:00-11:00 (2 groups of 10 participants at 08:00 and 09:30)

For registrations: 22510-47033, 22530-28091
